In 2205, a renowned mystic named Saniwa possesses the power to animate lifeless items. Meanwhile, sinister factions have devised a scheme to journey back through time and rewrite history—and the only ones who can thwart them are Saniwa and his most potent creations: legendary Japanese blades transformed into striking young men.
Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru begins with Yamatonokami Yasusada, the cherished uchigatana of Souji Okita, as he steps into his inaugural day within Saniwa"s fortress. He soon reunites with old companion Kashuu Kiyomitsu, and together they become entangled in the everyday shenanigans of their sword comrades. They seize every chance for merriment, from fierce snowball duels to welcoming fresh allies into the stronghold.
