Clans are bracing for conflict as Green King initiates maneuvers that risk plunging the realm into pandemonium and threatening all order. Following the death of the Gold King, safety for the realm's survival of the Dresden Slate—the Kings' power source—faces imminent danger. Nagare Hisui, the sly and mysterious leader who commands shadowed forces of the Green Clan Jungle, vows to seize the Slate by any means to claim supreme power.
Opposing him stands Sceptre 4, Blue Clan, led by resolute King Reishi Munakata. Yet his faltering Sword of Damocles threatens not only his clan but all of Japan's equilibrium. Meanwhile, Anna Kushina and her fierce HOMRA clan, still nursing their losses, become entangled in the Green King's schemes and lose their way. In the turmoil, Kurou Yatogami and Neko find themselves exposed to the looming threat while their dear ally Yashiro Isana, Silver King, remains lost.
As surviving clans resist Green King's might in a desperate bid, a final monarch emerges to bring peace and restore balance.
