Calimero is a tiny ebony bird bearing a shell on his head; he longs to soar like the other feathered friends. When he attempts flight and falters, the flock ridicules him, yet his partner Pricilla stands beside him to lift his spirits. Though he looks odd, he is clever and devises a plan to fly in bright skies with hopeful eyes.
