From a young age, Subaru Hasegawa was regarded as a basketball talent and a promising playmaker. He even attracted the attention of scouts from foreign youth leagues, but he firmly decided to build his career in his homeland and enrolled at the private high school Nanasiro, receiving a sports scholarship. There, fate dealt a blow to the young star – because of a dark history involving the team captain and the coach"s teenage daughter, the basketball club was shut down for a year, and its members gained a dubious reputation as lolicon enthusiasts. But Subaru didn"t linger in distress for long – at home, a sultry aunt Mihoshi was already waiting, offering to coach a newly formed girls" team… at her elementary school! Under the weight of persuasive arguments, the respectful nephew finally agreed; after all, only temporarily, for a short time… Thus the novice coach arrived at Kaizen Academy, where five sixth‑grade girls were waiting for him – a perfect match. Energetic Tomoka, precociously developed Airi, gamer and tomboyish Maho, romantic Saki, and naïve Hinata welcomed the "sensei" as befits it – with cosplay themed around "master", "big brother", and "shorts". Subaru barely convinced his new charges that they were there not to parody stale anime tropes, but to learn how to play basketball. But we already suspected that there would be much more in this fascinating story!
