One afternoon, Sandy"s dad, Professor Brown, mailed her a plush koala from one of his travels. Sandy learns that when she rubs the toy"s snout, it springs to life. Its name is Blinky and he hails from the enchanted "down under" realm of Koalawalla. Soon his tiny sister, Pinky, joins them. Escapades unfold across Sandy"s hometown in the bustling city and Koalawalla territory during the summer. They encounter two hunters chasing the "talking bear", a lizard that leaps between the magical world and our own, and kangaroo law enforcers for fun.
