The initial episode, named "Eiji 1996", summarizes the opening segment of the show (episodes 01–24). The subsequent episode ("Le Caine 1999") occurs after a temporal jump and covers episodes 26 to 37 (episode 25 of the TV series, which itself is a recap, is omitted here).
The concluding episode, in addition, "Seal 2000", extends the final TV episode (38) with fresh animation and a lengthier afterword for fans in this new edition.
