An anime feature of 50 minutes premiered as part of the Toei Manga Festival lineup and was shown alongside the film "Kamen Rider vs. Ambassador Hell" among other films.
Set in a future world, the story centers on four robotic canine companions. It draws its original plot from Hiroshi Sasagawa"s 1963 manga "Maken Goro," which appeared in Weekly Shonen King.
The narrative follows a young boy, Tsutomu, and his quartet of cybernetic dogs—Queen, Ace, Jack, and Joker—who merge to become the starship Liner as they confront insect‑like invaders from Planet Devil.
The project was directed by Takeshi Tamiya, with music composed by Takeo Yamashita.
