Finally! The last school day before the eagerly awaited summer holidays: fourteen‑year‑old Ichi and her friends have to clean up the classroom, after which they can forget about school for several weeks. While they, already seeing summer before their eyes, wipe the dust, Ichi polishes a large dirty mirror. Thanks to her efforts, the antique object soon begins to shine like new. And when the "cleaner" admires her reflection, a green‑haired girl appears in the mirror, looking at Ichi with surprise. Ichi turns around but finds no one! Attracted by a frightened cry, the friends rush to help and happily spread terrible rumors about the mirror"s secret: "It often happens that people who are not entirely normal see in the mirror those who do not exist." – the classmates try to convince frightened Ichi. When the bell announces the start of summer holidays, fear quickly fades away. In the evening Ichi, to her disappointment, discovers that she has lost her mobile phone, on which was a keychain made of two pieces of silver and twelve little stones, given to her by the charming Sei. The only place where the phone could be is the classroom with the unusual mirror. In twilight Ichi returns alone to school. But it seems that the mobile phone lies in the mirror, and she cannot reach it. At this moment fate makes an astonishing turn: again appears a mysterious girl who introduces herself as the nature spirit named Manatsu. She offers Ichi a deal: the schoolgirl agrees, and Manatsu leaves the mirror surrounded by shimmering light. After she returns Ichi"s mobile phone, the nature spirit hands the girl a school notebook. This is the first part of the favor that Manatsu asks for: Ichi must write her essay about the holidays. Moreover, the "fairy" wants to live in the schoolgirl"s family during the holidays. The parents of Ichi accept this condition unexpectedly easily. Only one thing gives the girl a headache: originally transparent stones on the keychain have now turned colorful – thus she cannot show them to her boyfriend and his brother Kayo, who are both her tutors. But Manatsu does not share her worries; on the contrary, she proudly tells about the secret of the stones. With their help Ichi can transform twelve times into a witch girl. With each stone she receives the clothing and power of one of the gods or nature spirits – initially she transforms into the Soul of the Sun.
