While Ichika Orimura leaves to inspect Kuramochi Engineering"s facilities, an unknown assailant infiltrates IS Academy"s core and disables its infrastructure. To counter the breach and restore operations, his elder sister Chifuyu calls upon Ichika"s companions: Houki Shinonono, Cecilia Alcott, Huang Lingyin, Laura Bodewig, and Charlotte Dunois. Together they employ virtual reality to battle the intruders inside IS Academy"s network.
The girls are unaware that a malicious code called "World Purge" activates upon their entry into cyberspace. The software drags them into fabricated worlds, each presenting a perfect romantic vision of their relationship with Ichika. When Ichika finally returns to IS Academy, he must rescue the five girls and pull them out of this simulated reality.
