While volunteering at an anime convention to promote his hometown, high‑schooler Kakeru Niimi is struck by a sudden quake. In the chaos he slips into a shrine and witnesses an odd relic crack to pieces. The following day, his classmate Miyako Kujou—who had been cosplaying at the fair—feels she might be cursed by the tremor, yet Niimi brushes off her fears. Yet his perspective shifts when he learns that a wave of people in the city now possess supernatural abilities, some of whom are exploiting them for evil. Luckily Niimi is not alone; he teams up with Miyako, his sister Sora, and a stoic newcomer named Noa Yuuki, all of whom have also awakened powers. Together they must safeguard their town by averting future calamities and uncovering the truth behind these phenomena.
