Hana, a young Paldea resident who looks up to the postman Dragonite and dreams of becoming an elite mail carrier, one day receives a nameless letter. Resolute to discover its author, she sets off on an urgent hunt with her companion Hogator. After darting through the town, she eventually finds the writer—a boy named Rio. Hearing his tale, Hana learns that Rio penned the note to honor his father's birthday while he is stationed alone in Kanto, in the quiet outskirts. Yet, the day of that birthday has already passed.
