Inspired by her late grandfather's motivating words, Chizuru Mizuhara partners with friend Kazuya Kinoshita to start a crowdfunding drive for an indie movie. They both believe that if the campaign succeeds, Chizuru can fulfill her grandparents' wishes before losing her grandmother too. During their chaotic adventures with three girls—Kazuya's overly attached "trial" partner, Ruka Sarashina; the inquisitive new neighbor, Mini Yaemori; and Chizuru's timid office colleague, Sumi Sakurasawa—they unite to hit the funding target and kick off filming under the neon-lit skyline of Tokyo, they face unexpected obstacles while dreaming of cinematic glory. As the bold project unfolds, Chizuru and Kazuya grow closer, confronting their shared emotions.
