Arisu Tachibana, a mature grade‑school student with idol aspirations, receives an invitation from her company president to join the Third Entertainment Section—a fresh idol initiative. Soon after, Arisu and eight other hopefuls meet their producer before launching their idol activities.
The girls are taken aback when their producer turns out to be a childlike adult, far from what they expected. The newcomer producer, stepping into the role for the first time, likewise had no expectation of encountering a cohort of petite, youthful idols. This awkward encounter disappoints Arisu, prompting her to desire a new producer.
Yet, driven by genuine affection for idols and a wish to see them succeed, the producer insists on seizing this chance, affirming his commitment to collaborate with the girls. Fortunately, the young idols welcome him once they witness his steadfast devotion, marking the beginning of their ascent toward their dream stage.
