Identifying themselves as Reunion, this insurgent group ruthlessly razes cities, amplifying the already disastrous impact of Catastrophes. Rhodes Island, dedicated to treating both infected and healthy people equally, is a paramilitary pharmaceutical entity reputed to lead the quest for an Oripathy cure. Unfortunately, the chief architect of this effort—an enigmatic persona known only as the Doctor—suffers from amnesia, severely hindering what could be the sole salvation for the afflicted.
