Suletta Mercury departs her home world and enrolls at the Asticassia School of Technology, following her mother's orders. She leaves behind familiar surroundings to seek higher education and mastery of aerial combat. In this academy, moral judgments are settled by student duels; the highest‑ranking combatant earns Miorine Rembran as a betrothed, a prize chosen by Miorine's father.
When Guel Jeturk—the school"s top aviator and Miorine"s current fiancée—asks his partner to live with him, Suletta objects. Consequently, Guel issues a challenge. Although she wins the bout, authorities detain her on suspicion of piloting an illicit mobile unit—a GUND‑ARM, or "Gundam"—and her triumph is annulled.
Miorine will not accept further wrongs and sets a new duel with greater stakes to restore balance. Suletta must win again; failure will lead to expulsion and the destruction of the Gundam Aerial that she cherishes, along with her dreams.
