Having just finished middle school, 15‑year‑old Hiyori Suzumi relocates from her seaside town to Tokyo, chasing her aspiration of becoming a track and field athlete in the bustling capital. Regrettably, the moment her first year of high school starts, she confronts an issue that forces her to secure a part‑time position to cover herself. After sifting through a multitude of job listings, Hiyori discovers an opening for event crew during the busy festival season, and surprisingly she is hired. She learns that she will serve as a trainee manager for LIPxLIP, a male idol ensemble featuring Yuujirou Someya and Aizou Shibasaki—who, coincidentally, are also her classmates. Despite the startling news, Hiyori is determined to juggle her coursework, her goals, and most crucially, her duties as LIPxLIP"s assistant while maintaining her academic standards.
