Rin Suzune, a nine‑year‑old girl, has lost her parents and now lives alone while managing her family"s restaurant. Being a child, she does not yet know how to cook well or run a business, so her efforts to earn money fail. To add to the hardship, she is tormented at school for being poor! Yet Rin stays determined. Even though her food isn"t the best, nearby townsfolk are drawn to her place and want to help because of her honest spirit and hope today in the quiet town where everyone knows her.
