Moving into a new school can be difficult—especially when you intentionally avoid friendships, just as Nobuaki Kanazawa does. His reclusive behavior soon makes sense once the entire class receives a cryptic text from someone identifying himself as "The King." The message outlines strict rules for the so‑called "King"s Game," demanding that every student participate. Those who refuse to play, quit halfway, or fail to obey a single command within the allotted 24‑hour period are warned that they will face lethal punishment.
Nobuaki, who has already survived the game and watched classmates die in its deadly trials, tries to warn his naïve peers. They dismiss him until the first casualties are reported. With no way out of this terrifying ordeal, Nobuaki must decide whether to protect his own life or finally act to save the classmates he once ignored.
