Ren Fujii is an ordinary pupil who recently fought with his old best friend, causing the friendship to end. With support from his childhood companion Kasumi Ayase and senior Rea Himuro, he slowly returns to everyday school life while grappling with the loss of his closest ally.
Suddenly a string of savage killings in which victims are decapitated hits their town as rumors of a sinister force grow louder daily. Oddly, Ren simultaneously experiences frightening dreams of a guillotine severing his head. Yet these hauntings merely foreshadow the harsh and dreadful confrontations ahead.
