Tazuna Takatsuki, a high school student who loves to repair things, is among these Hand Shakers. While fixing equipment for Professor Makihara of a nearby university, Tazuna meets Koyori Akutagawa, a bedridden girl who evokes memories of his late sister Musubu. Recalling her final wish to never release her hand, Tazuna grips Koyori"s fingers and unlocks his Hand Shaker power. Yet Koyori"s life is bound to her status as a Hand Shaker; if Tazuna releases her hand, she will die.
