An origin‑story of battle will focus on the renowned 17th‑century Japanese daimyo Date Masamune during his youth. The Date house derived its name from the region of former Mutsu province, which now forms part of the contemporary city of Date. This anime will inaugurate the municipality"s "Kirari na Wonder Project" (Twinkling Wonder Initiative), designed to showcase local attractions and the area"s allure. Gainax"s freshly established Fukushima studio will produce the series, aiming for completion by March"s end. A private premiere is slated for April, with additional screenings at anime conventions and online distribution. The project also plans to engage local communities through interactive events and educational workshops for fans.
