Originating as a social study, six distinct individuals were conditioned to believe they formed a family and then placed in random scenarios to observe their reactions; yet when footage of the family's interactions was sold in a frantic bid for modest profit, it immediately turned into a hit. Today the group is a top-rated program and each of their actions is transmitted worldwide without their awareness. But when a blocked toilet triggers a series of events that ultimately liberates the family from the studio where they are held, the producers—unwilling to forfeit their revenue source—set out to locate and reclaim every member of the Eternal clan, in a desperate attempt to preserve their lucrative platform for the benefit of all stakeholders.
