Following his escape from a bus hijacking aided by the masked hero Strange Juice, Yuuta Iridatsu discovers his spirit has been detached from his body and is now tended by a mischievous cat‑like spirit named Chiranosuke. In this ethereal form, Yuuta roams the Korai House in search of a way to return to flesh while keeping an eye on its inhabitants: Meika Daihatsu, a brilliant inventor; Mikatan Narugino, an upbeat idol; Ito Hikiotani, a recluse NEET; and Rabura Chichibu, a medium. When Chiranosuke notices Yuuta catching a fleeting look at Narugino's underwear, he discloses that each sight of panties amplifies his strength dramatically.
