Gunma Akagi, a rural youth, often stirs up trouble with his turbo‑charged tractor, much to the dismay of his father, budding politician Souichirou Akagi, who insists the family must set a positive example for his future and aspirations ahead.
That evening, as Gunma and his close companion Tamotsu Oishi guided the tractor along a winding road, an aggressive vehicle surged past them. Viewing it as a dare, Gunma attempted to match the speed, but his tractor collapsed in an astonishing crash. The loss ignited a fierce resolve inside him; he vowed to confront the enigmatic rival relentlessly. Shortly thereafter, he abandoned his tranquil rural life and relocated to a vibrant metropolis, where he set his sights on ascending the ranks of Formula One racing for victory.
