Seiya Kanie, a clever yet highly self‑absorbed senior, thinks that the gorgeous but aloof Isuzu Sento has arranged a date for him at an amusement park known as Amagi Brilliant Park. To his dismay, the place is a shabby ruin and what he thinks is a romantic outing turns out to be a hiring trip where Sento and Princess Latifa Fleuranza, the park"s proprietor, request him to take on the role of its new manager. Why the urgency? A land‑use agreement states that Amagi must attract 500,000 visitors within three months or it will shut permanently and the property will be sold to a cut‑throat developer.
Seiya is intrigued when he learns that Amagi is not an ordinary theme park; many of its staff are Maple Landers—enigmatic magical beings who dwell in our world and thrive on the joy people generate. Charged with carrying the hopes of this distant enchanted realm, Seiya must now employ all his talents to revive Amagi or see it collapse before him. His ambition and intellect may be the key to rescue Amagi, but he must face his ego.
