Suzu Nekoyama ("Cat") and Yatyo Inugami ("Dog") fully live up to their surnames: Suzu is miniature, graceful, and self‑aware, while Yatyo is simple‑hearted, impulsive, and responsive. Yet Suzu loves dogs ("they are so loyal… and they respond well to training!"), and Yatyo is crazy about cats (what explanation is needed? Cats are the embodiment of charm!). Naturally, they fell for each other at first sight! Suzu just needs a reason to agree (a self‑respecting cat doesn"t rush things), and Yatyo comes up with ways to seduce his friend (tea with catnip, for example – cats are enchanted by him!).
