Drawing from a PlayStation 2 title, the story of Varanoir unfolds inside a Magic University that shares its name—Varanoir. The campus trains students for battle against the devil master, combining spellcraft with disciplined swordplay.
The central figure is Myu, granddaughter of Jii. Though once a celebrated swordsman, Jii now works as a chimney cleaner in Varanoir yet still imparts his combat knowledge to Myu. She decides to enroll at the university to hone her fighting skills. While studying, she meets Ryuto, a remarkably talented peer who continually views Myu as a rival. Their rivalry fuels both of them to push beyond limits, shaping the destiny of Varanoir.
