Yuki Sanada has long felt like a fish out of water. Awkward and nervous, he struggles to blend into his surroundings and moves from town to town with his grandmother. When he and his grandma arrive in the picturesque coastal village of Enoshima, Yuki dreams of a fresh start. Yet his standing at school is threatened by the arrival of new transfer student Haru. The quirky Haru instantly makes a splash, loudly claiming to be an extraterrestrial and proclaiming Yuki as his ally. Linking the hesitant Yuki with their classmate and angler, Natsuki Usami, he assigns both of them the ludicrous task of rescuing the world from an unseen menace beneath the sea. Chaos and pranks follow as these three set off on a playful journey full of laughter, emotion, and personal growth for future today.
