When Hotaru Tachibana moves into a new apartment, she notices a strange man lurking around her building. The girl immediately dislikes the behavior of this arrogant guy, but it turns out that he is her neighbor. The next day at school, Hotaru"s best friend Kanae shocks her with the news that a host from a club deceived her and "threw her for money."
