On a parallel Earth, civilization has fallen into decline. The masters of life have moved to the Moon – to Munaiz, a dream city that every night lures ordinary earthly people with celestial lights, while they grind their lives in crumbling stone jungles. In RollerTown – one of the earthly settlements – lives a young rebel and wanderer named Dan, who most wants in the world to get to the Moon. But dreams are one thing and reality is another; Dan, together with his faithful symbiotic animal Spanky and his friends the brewers Ganz and Bell, spins as best he can to earn bread for himself and his sick sister Coco. It would be bad if the guy ended, but a childhood friend – hobby mechanic Miyuki – offered to play basketball on Bigfoot. The thing is that among RollerTown's favorite spectacles is "Basko" – a game of basketball on walking robots, all called Bigfoots. This is the most advanced technology allowed to Earthlings by the celestial masters, and Bigfoots are used everywhere – from construction work to street patrols. Miyuki together with Uncle Soite builds a unique robot that will allow Dan to show his basketball talent, which he does in an impressive way. Now the long journey of the heroes to the Moon begins! All that remains is to decide – why did designer Tom Romen lace basketball robots in Nike sneakers?
