Released on SEGA"s website in November 2008, Sonic: Night of the Werehog is an ONA created to advertise Sonic World Adventure, which is called Sonic Unleashed in North America and Europe.
Sonic and Chip head to a deserted, haunted mansion on a wet evening, where they encounter two playful ghosts who frighten every visitor to snap their photos and impress the resident ghost girl. While they manage to scare Chip into losing his composure, they fail to startle Sonic. Enraged, the ghosts join forces to outwit Sonic; can he halt them with a touch of the full moon"s power?
