Natsumi Mizuki, a fourth‑grade student, finds her parents away in London. She has a tight schedule and limited free time. Her aunt Izumi moves in to stay with her. Izumi, an up‑and‑coming manga author chasing her first major success, has no time for a child that materializes out of nowhere on Natsumi"s first night alone. The infant is named Mirai, and her mother is *Natsumi*, but fifteen years older. Somehow Mirai has slipped back through time. Now the young girl must care for Mirai while preserving her fourth‑grade routine, keeping her grades steady, and hiding the little one from everyone. She receives questionable assistance from Izumi and a handful of futuristic baby‑care devices.
