Yukiya Ayase is a gentle, kind‑hearted university student. The sole relative he still has, his cousin Tetsuo, betrays him by auctioning him off to the highest bidder in hopes of raking in a huge sum to clear his debts. Somuku Kanou, a temperamental but wealthy loan shark, steps in and rescues Ayase by purchasing him for an astonishing 1.2 billion yen. Kanou seems to recognize Ayase from a past encounter, yet the student cannot recall who he is or why Kanou "rescued" him. Desperate to keep Ayase close, Kanou demands the debt be settled in full and proposes a perfect solution: selling his body to Kanou for 500,000 yen each time. Ayase is initially shocked, but a bond soon develops between them that cannot be bought with money.
