Yukito Kirihara, sixteen, lives with his fourteen-year-old sister Sana whom he loves above all. One night an ogre appears outside, hunting Sana—an event that shocks him. Yukito rushes to shield her but is slain. A mysterious woman promises reincarnation, handing him a character sheet from an arcane tome.
