Gen Kinokura is a lone camper seeking escape from the bustling metropolis to rejuvenate his thoughts and savor nature. One day, he encounters Shizuku Kusano at a campsite that is supposedly deserted. A novice in camping, Shizuku attempts to settle beside Gen even though he objects. Gen finally concedes when he sees her poor preparation.
Giving her pointers for the next excursion, Gen assumes their meeting will end there. Yet Shizuku resolves to accompany his future solo trips to deepen her camping skills. Though no longer alone, they agree on shared rules for joint camping, enabling a reciprocal experience while still enjoying the solitude vibe. Their bond grows stronger as they share stories under starlit skies.
