Watching everyone else revel in their carefree youth, socially anxious Renako Amaori resolves to become the life of the party. Though she has lived a withdrawn existence, she alters her look, rehearses small talk, and enrolls in a high school where no one recognizes her. She quickly befriends the renowned model Mai Ouzuka, but once Renako joins Mai"s circle she discovers that masquerading as a completely different person is far from simple.
Soon Renako and Mai share a candid conversation, opening up about their fears. After that heartfelt talk, Renako feels certain they could become inseparable friends. The very next day the impossible occurs—Mai confesses her love for Renako!
