Unfocused day‑dreaming during secondary school is a normal part of adolescence. Yet when the diploma arrives, bills appear and higher education demands attention. Still, Midori Nagumo never really abandoned her fantasies—even after enrolling in university—because she yearns to enjoy life while sidestepping obligations. She often finds herself lost in whimsical scenarios, hoping to escape the grind of lectures. In contrast, her so‑called best friend Niikura is the antithesis of Midori and aspires to become a photographer after graduation. Nonetheless, Niikura frequently gets involved in Midori"s plots, which brings them to Wako Izumi—a determined yet scatter‑brained peer who constantly snaps photos of anything amusing.
