Mai Otonashi, Rina Godai, Nozomi Mitaka, Sayuri Ichinose and Nanase Nikaidou all belong to their bowling club. The team leader, Mai, can easily hit a "turkey" – three consecutive strikes – but the following throw usually spoils her frame. Every member has a different struggle with the game, yet they never lose their enjoyment.
Rina, however, is not satisfied by mere fun. As the newest recruit she resents how the others brush aside their mistakes. After a heated dispute, she resolves to leave the club, but Mai blocks her exit. During a showdown that will decide Rina"s fate, an odd event follows Mai"s turkey: the girls are hurled back in time!
They find themselves amid a Sengoku‑era battlefield. They quickly learn that reproducing the contest between Mai and Rina is the only way to return home. While they embrace their adventure in this unfamiliar age, Mai must prepare for a turkey when the moment is critical.
They bond over laughs at Mai"s follow‑ups. The battlefield is silent except distant cannon fire. As they plan their strategy, Mai reminds everyone that teamwork and perseverance are essential.
