During her elementary school years, Etsuko Murakami felt she was exceptional because of her remarkable speed. When classmates eventually surpassed her in athletic ability, she grew disenchanted and ultimately stopped running altogether. Now a second‑year student in high school, Etsuko"s spirits sank even further when the rowing club she had joined abruptly disbanded in the school. However, a zealous transfer student named Riina Takahashi insisted that Etsuko and their classmate Hime Saeki collaborate to revive the club, igniting a hopeful shift in her outlook.
Soon after, the newly formed crew was bolstered by rivals Taeko Hyoudou and Mayumi Imoto, who brought fresh energy. Though initially reluctant to commit fully, Etsuko may have finally found her true place as she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to rowing alongside the other determined girls, each pushing toward a common goal in their hearts.
