The Joker and his partner, Harley Quinn, are tearing through Gotham's avenues with bags brimming with cash while the police close in a frantic escape. Unfortunately for them, though the clown slips away, the night ends with Harley seized by an enigmatic woman wielding a katana. Meanwhile, Amanda Waller, chief of the federal security agency A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a cadre of villains for a brutal incursion into an alternate realm. After losing contact with the initial suicide squad dispatched through the portal, Waller sends Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, King Shark, and Harley as replacements. Yet soon after stepping through the portal, their helicopter crashes amid a clash between cavalry units and ferocious orcs in the heat. With all accompanying A.R.G.U.S. personnel killed upon impact, the villains unshackle themselves and wreak havoc across the orc army, inadvertently aiding the human forces—only to be met with incarceration for their future and penalty. Now shackled by enchanted restraints, Harley and her cohort must race back to the originating portal, lest the explosives A.R.G.U.S. fitted in their throats detonate in time before.
