Planet Omega 13 conceals a danger that has claimed every Advancer sent to investigate, one by one. The Domestic Union of Arms is stumped; consequently its top officer Mugal decides to hand the hazardous assignment to the most ruthless, self‑sufficient, and expendable operative they can find. Despite the peril, Mugal believes there is no other viable option.
They locate such a candidate in the outlaw Tina Owens. Sentenced to 2,000 years for blowing up an entire world, she is offered a tempting deal: leave her cell, travel to Omega 13, locate and eliminate any threats, and catalogue resources that could be exploited by the Allied Earth Government; in return she will earn her freedom.
Faced with Omega 13"s ominous reputation and the unknown perils it holds, one must weigh options. Tina accepts the perilous contract and sets off for the planet. Success of this endeavor could shape the Union"s future.
