During their final year of middle school, the five members of CRYCHIC separated after an acrimonious breakup. Each carried her own remorse and enrolled at different high schools, determined never to cross paths again.
At the same time, Anon Chihaya began attending Haneoka Girls" Academy midway through the term. Like many pupils, she played in a band as a pastime and wanted to blend in, so she spent her early days seeking fellow musicians for a new group with herself as lead vocalist. She struck up a friendship with Tomori Takamatsu, a timid girl who appeared intrigued yet unsure about joining. It later emerged that Tomori had once been in CRYCHIC, a chapter that left her deeply wounded.
Through Tomori, Anon met Taki Shiina and Soyo Nagasaki, both ex‑members of the same ensemble. While Taki resented the idea of collaborating with Anon, Soyo welcomed the chance to help. With Soyo"s support, Anon"s ambition to assemble a band seemed attainable—provided she could recruit a few more players. They all hoped that music could heal their scars.
