When her boyfriend leaves her for another girl, college student Akane Kinoshita struggles with a shattered heart and the memories he left behind in the quiet dormitory. She launches Forest of Savior, the MMO they once played together, and devises a plan to exact revenge on her ex through an in‑person event within the game during the upcoming anniversary. During this, she encounters an unexpected ally: Akito Yamada, a renowned gamer who also happens to be her guildmate in the same raid group. Desperate for help, Akane pulls the reclusive Yamada into her scheme and offers him a shoulder to cry on. Their differences quickly surface as they spend time together, yet both notice each other's hidden depths and unspoken fears.
