Formerly a prize‑winning violin prodigy, Hajime abandoned music after his father, the professional violinist Ryuuji Aono, became embroiled in a scandal that drew relentless media harassment toward the family. Now he lives alone with his mother and is entering his last year of middle school, struggling to chart a new career path. Yet the tone of his classmate Ritsuko Akine"s violin performance rekindles in him a longing for music once more. Supported by Ritsuko, Hajime readies himself for the entrance exam to the renowned Umimaku High School. To join its orchestra, however, he must confront his past trauma and welcome fresh musical horizons. This fuels linger whether the world will accept him.
