While rescuing a child from danger, otaku Asahi Ikusaba is whisked away to another realm and assumes he has been reborn with the cheat abilities of his beloved video‑game and novel heroes. Yet reality hits hard when a fierce monster confronts him, proving he remains just an ordinary human.
In that perilous instant, Asahi instinctively summons his overprotective sister Maya, who materializes out of nowhere with the overwhelming powers he expected. Maya is thrilled to reunite with her brother and vows to use her newfound strength to shield him at all costs.
The two close siblings set out together, searching for a way back home while savoring their new adventures. But it quickly becomes apparent that their arrival may serve a greater purpose. With the Demon King"s colossal army drawing near, only Maya appears capable of holding them back.
