In 2008, Japan's authorities launched a campaign targeting self‑identified otaku to safeguard national heritage and prevent perceived cultural erosion. Within a single week, the SSC enforcement unit seized nearly all otaku and confiscated their collectibles, leaving many communities stunned. A fervent individual, self‑styled Otaku Hero, rejects the agency's authority: he assembles a resistance force of displaced geeks united to protect their culture against relentless suppression. Three years on, the spark of revolt fades and all optimism for otaku appears extinguished, as the SSC tightens its grip on every corner of fandom. Driven by his companion, the sorceress Anarchy, Otaku Hero leads the resistance to reunite her with the remaining two mystical girls—Blue and Pink—in a desperate bid for unity. Merging their combined strength, the resistance could overcome the SSC and preserve otaku culture for all, restoring hope to a generation that once felt unheard.
