Desiring companionship and to play live, shy and socially nervous Hitori 'Bocchi' Gotou spends her days strumming the guitar. One pivotal moment, she encounters the charismatic drummer Nijika Ijichi, who offers her a spot in Kessoku Band after their guitarist Ikuyo Kita abandons the group before their debut gig. Shortly thereafter, Bocchi finds her final member—the laid‑back bassist Ryou Yamada.
Their debut show falls short, yet the trio feels invigorated by their mutual passion for music and soon welcome back Kita. Embracing joy in performance, Bocchi and her fellow musicians pour their souls into honing their craft while savoring the brief span of high‑school life for each other's growth and unforgettable memories.
