Han Yuxi, a young woman plagued by self‑doubt over her looks, has endured criticism and mistreatment throughout her life after years of feeling invisible in the bustling city daily. Shattered when she discovers her boyfriend"s infidelity, she resolves to act and visits a clinic for cosmetic surgery. There she encounters surgeon Ling Huantao, who intends to sculpt the visage of his vegetative wife, a fixation he cannot shake.
