After claiming the Number One headband, which declares him supreme among warriors, Afro enjoys most of his days in calm, though his nights are plagued with nightmares. Chaos erupts once more when Jinno and Sio—his old comrades from years past—steal the headband and his father's relics. Challenged by Sio to wear the Number Two headband again and strike back for their betrayal, Afro sets out anew as its bearer—an object that would drive any to kill him.
Afro Samurai: Resurrection chronicles Afro as he confronts a fresh wave of adversaries, cutting through the corpses he leaves behind to once more sate his unending thirst for vengeance. Each clash leaves him scarred, yet the headband's power compels him forward. He remembers his father's teachings and the promise he made to protect those he loves, fueling his relentless pursuit.
