Junpei Murao discovered his passion for ballet at a tender age during his sister"s performance, when a male dancer captivated him with an intense display. Yet for Junpei, the worst fear was classmates uncovering his hidden love for ballet and labeling him as effeminate. Consequently, he joined the soccer team, practiced Jeet Kune Do, and aimed to follow his father"s path as a stunt coordinator—activities he deemed decidedly masculine.
When classmate Miyako Godai noticed Junpei executing a striking kick that blended ballet and Jeet Kune Do before their peers, she immediately invited him to enroll in her mother"s ballet studio. He hesitated initially; though he had abandoned formal ballet ambitions, nothing matched the thrill that the art brought him. After years of repressing his desire, shedding doubt and breaking free from rigid masculine expectations proved difficult. Junpei must now sacrifice certain comforts and devote himself wholly to ballet, risking the loss of some friendships in the process. His resolve, however, remains unwavering as he navigates the delicate balance between tradition and personal fulfillment.
